Command Ops: Three Custom Scenarios Available For Download
By the end of this week I should have my fourth scenario for Command Ops "The Arnaville Bridgehead" complete and available for download.
If you missed my three previous scenarios, they are available for download below:
The Lion Route: The Lion Route simulates the second and third days of fighting at Arnhem along the approaches to the highway bridge. As the 1st Parachute Brigade commander you are charged with securing and holding the vital Lion Route to the bridge.

The Fight For Best: As the Allied commander you lead the 502nd Parachute Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division and it's attack to secure the vital road and rail bridges at Best.
As the Axis commander, you lead elements of the 59th Infantry division in a spirited defense of the town of Best and it's bridges as well as regaining control of the vital road bridge over the River Dommel at St. Oedenrode.
Historically, the fight for Best lasted almost three days and is described by participants as one of the most "bitter battles" of the Netherlands campaign. The outclassed Germans fought bravely and gave the 101st all they could handle.

The Battle of Champs: The Battle for Champs occurred on December 25th, 1944. Elements of two German divisions assaulted the western side of the Bastogne perimeter through the driving snow in an attempt to take the American defenders by surprise on Christmas morning.

Comments
I had intended to utilize the reinforcements 3rd Battalion (I/K/L Coys) along with A & B Coy’s to attack the Sillegny Bridges Objective, but when I saw the success that the lone wolf engineer unit was having, I re-tasked them south to Selle, however that was all in vain.
This is the first mission I have ever played in this game where I had to utilize air strikes and artillery barrages to attack enemy units behind my front line. Having completely failed from go in securing the Corry – Road to Dornot Objective (actually not even noticing it until I was questioning why there were Axis grenadiers taking coffee and sugar from my supply bases), the Germans flooded into my rear area from the north and caused all kinds of hell throughout the scenario.
Very well put together and was fun to play through my mistakes. I will have to do a proper AAR on this in the next few days.
I've only managed that 1 of 3 times.
Good feedback on the Sillegny and Seille bridges. I will have to put some static forces around them. Maybe a few on the plateau east of hill 386. The 282nd replacement and training battalion was much bigger than I have represented.
How did the 2nd time play?
